Follow Your Heart

Getting home from the Bold Ascension Calendar Sneak Peek Dinner my heart was so happy. I didn't do much talking that night, I really just soaked in what was happening…; the I am BOLD. I RISE. Campaign brought all these women together and sitting there hearing the conversation really inspired me. As women, we all go through similar struggles and even if it’'s not the same struggle, we can find a similar story in someone else’s story. In sharing your story you never know how you will impact someone. Do not hold back and stop caring what other people will think of you. Your vibe attracts your tribe and that is exactly what I’m living. The connection that this group has is unreal and it was only because we allowed ourselves to be our true selves that we came together. We sat there and shared stories, we laughed, cried, and inspired one another. In hearing some of these women’s stories I realized something, our past will absolutely make sense once we discover our purpose. Learn to listen to your heart and do not be scared to do the unknown. Throughout this campaign, there were countless times that I doubted myself, even when things were going smooth I was secretly expecting for something to go wrong. There were some bumps along the way; we had a photographer fall off and even had some women decline my invitation to be a part of the campaign. Had I listened to that little sabotaging voice inside of my head instead of my heart we would not be sitting at the dinner table. Of course, it was not easy but as we know, nothing worth having comes easy. The dinner was a total success and seeing all the women’s reactions to the calendar confirmed it. My darlings, always follow your heart and not the little voice inside your head.

Let me start off by saying I want to apologize for being MIA. After attending Landmark I know that integrity is a huge part of shaping your life. If you cannot keep your word to yourself, how can we expect for anything else in your life to work? When I began my journey of this campaign I inspired women to take part and they agreed in hopes that I would share their stories.

After the domestic incident between my ex-husband and I, social services were referred to our home. I remember being so irritated thinking, what did my kids have to do with him putting hands on me, he had never hurt the kids. The social worker came by to my house several times and I kept dodging her visits.
